Sister outshines Mirror boy

The younger sister of Mirror band member Edan Lui Cheuk-on outperformed her brother, who graduated from the University of Hong Kong, as she got 39 points in her best six subjects in DSE exams.

Lui Wai-yu got three level 5**, three 5* and one 5 when DSE results were released yesterday. That gave her 33 points for her best five subjects and 39 for the best six, much better than her brother's best-five score of 25 when he took the exam in 2015.

Lui's siblings attended Ho Fung College in Kwai Chung. In a chart posted by the school yesterday, Wai-yu ranked third among the school's DSE takers this year.

With such a good score, Lui is guaranteed a place at the local university of her choice, but it's not known if she will follow her brother's footsteps to study business administration at Hong Kong University.
