Hong Kong's richest man Li Ka-shing has donated HK$4 million to Food Angel so it can run free meal services to the grassroots until the end of April.Food Angel thanked Li for once again giving a helping hand to the non-governmental organization.
Making the donation through Li Ka Shing Foundation, Li thanked Food Angel for continuing to support elderly and grassroots citizens amid the epidemic and that every single support and help is key in the Covid battle.

Meanwhile, Deliveroo has partnered with the Jade Club to deliver 600 Covid care packages to senior citizens.
More than 70 volunteer riders and employees have been an integral part of the efficient and timely delivery of over 600 care packages in the city.
A Deliveroo worker, surnamed Cheng, was quick to volunteer for the care package delivery.
He said: "I am touched at the thought of serving the people of my city in meaningful ways and putting a smile on the faces of the elderly."
