Pink's the color of love, making the revamped Portland Street Rest Garden just the spot for a romantic tryst. The garden in Yau Ma Tei reopens today with all facilities painted pink.
Even the plants are a refreshing pink.
Part of the garden keeps its old style and some facilities have been renewed to improve lighting and seating. Another part of the garden has a modern flavor with innovative designs and artistic elements.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department is also refurbishing the sitting-out area under the flyover in Hill Road, in the Central and Western District.
And it will renovate the Hamilton Street Rest Garden in Yau Tsim Mong District as it brings new designs to small outdoor leisure venues and improves older public spaces.
