The 17-year-old scored 67.060 percent in Sunday's Dressage Individual Final, finishing 15th and capping an impressive debut on the Asian Games stage.
Hong Kong sent Li, Annie Ho Yuen-yan and Yuddy Cheng Kai-hei to compete in both the team and individual dressage competitions. All three received professional training under a joint development initiative spearheaded by the Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China and The Hong Kong Jockey Club.
The Jumping competition gets underway on October 1, with Patrick Lam, Jacqueline Lai, Clarissa Lyra, and Sheikara Lalive d’Epinay representing Hong Kong to compete in both the team and Individual competitions.
Hong Kong has sent 11 horse-and-rider combinations at the Asian Games across dressage, eventing, and show jumping, in both team and individual categories.
HKJC has also deployed a support team, including coaches, grooms, veterinarians, farriers, and physiotherapists for both riders and horses, to assist the athletes during the competitions.
