4 newborn kittens abandoned in Sham Shui Po with note seeking adoption

Four newborn black kittens were found abandoned in a plastic container outside a shop on Yen Chow Street in Sham Shui Po on Tuesday night, with a note reading: "Please kindly adopt these newborn kittens. The milk is newly bought," police said.

A passer-by, Ms Liu, discovered the kittens, believed to be about one week old, and called police. The container also contained a towel, with two cloth bags nearby believed to have been used to carry the kittens.

SPCA volunteers arrived at the scene and fed the kittens milk using syringes before taking them away for care.
