Man arrested for alleged upskirt filming at Quarry Bay MTR Station

Police arrested a 30-year-old local man on February 27 for suspected upskirt filming of a woman on an escalator at Quarry Bay MTR station on February 25.

A woman reported via e-report to police that morning she believed a man secretly filmed under her skirt on the escalator and fled. 

She first posted about the incident on Threads, urging others to call 999 immediately if they encounter similar situations, then formally reported it electronically.

After reviewing security footage and investigation, officers from Eastern District arrested the suspect surnamed Leung the following afternoon.

He remains in custody and is being investigated for voyeurism. The case is handled by Eastern District Crime Squad 7.
