Coleman Wong shines in National Games action

Hong Kong tennis representative Coleman Wong Chak-lam showcased his talent at the National Games, competing in multiple events that tested his skills and stamina. 

In the morning, Wong faced off against player from Guangdong in the third round of singles. Wong wasted no time, dominating the first set and claiming it 6-2 in just 36 minutes. 

The second set proved to be more challenging, with both players battling fiercely for control. Ultimately, Wong secured a crucial break in the ninth game, allowing him to seal the set 6-4 after an intense 1 hour and 17 minutes of play. 

Following his singles victory, the 21-year-old star joined forces with Kevin Wong Chun-hun to take on the Jiangsu duo of Tang and Sun in the men’s doubles quarter-finals. A win in this match will propel them into the semi-finals.
