A section of scaffolding collapsed at a residential building on Conduit Road in Mid-Levels on Wednesday, leaving two workers injured.

Paramedics and police were dispatched after receiving the emergency call at around noon, reporting the incident at Elegant Terrace, located at 36 Conduit Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that some scaffolding measuring approximately nine meters by nine meters, covering the second and third floors of the building, had given way.
The two injured workers sustained head injuries but remained conscious throughout the ordeal. They were taken to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.

Parts of the scaffolding structure were left dangling precariously from the facade after the incident. Debris, including wooden planks and bamboo poles, was scattered across the area and had fallen near the entrance of the adjacent building at 63 Robinson Road.
According to preliminary information from the scene, the workers were in the process of dismantling the scaffolding when the structure suddenly collapsed.
