A 60-year-old man from mainland China collapsed while dining at a restaurant on Portland Street in Mong Kok on Sunday evening (August 17, 2025), around 10 PM, and later died in hospital.
Police received a report of the incident at 394 Portland Street. Officers arrived to find the man unconscious and rushed him to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead shortly after. Initial investigations suggest he fainted suddenly during his meal. The cause of death awaits confirmation from an autopsy.
