Tech chief to introduce HK's achievements at APEC Digital and AI Ministerial Meeting in South Korea

The city's technology chief will introduce Hong Kong's initiatives and achievements in promoting AI development and digital innovation as he is set to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Digital and AI Ministerial Meeting.

Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong will depart for Incheon, South Korea on Sunday to deliver a speech in thematic sessions at DMM, where he is also expected to share Hong Kong's progress in creating a safe and trustworthy digital and AI ecosystem.

The theme of the DMM this year is "Digital and AI Transformation toward Prosperity and Sustainable Growth for All". 

During the visit, Sun will visit the IT infrastructure, IT parks and a university in Korea.
      
He will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday (Aug 6).
