Three individuals were arrested for suspected criminal damage after allegedly spray-painting graffiti on a road sign directing traffic to a police station in Kowloon City.
The arrests yesterday (Jun 21) followed a report received last Friday (Jun 20) regarding vandalism near Concorde Road.
Police discovered multiple spray cans and three bicycles from an industrial building unit in Kwun Tong, which are believed to be connected to the case.
The individuals taken into custody include a 40-year-old male and his 38-year-old girlfriend, as well as a 26-year-old male friend from Taiwan.
Investigations revealed that the three individuals had sprayed graffiti on the exterior walls of at least three architectural or public facilities located in Sau Mau Ping and Kowloon Wall City.
The arrestees are currently detained for further investigation, and the case has been transferred to the Sham Shui Po District Crime Squad for follow-up.
