A 33-year-old local woman has been arrested following a violent rampage in Tsim Sha Tsui that left one woman injured and sent shoppers into panic. The suspect, initially giving a false name and behaving erratically, was subdued by bystanders before police arrived.
The incident began at around 2.15pm yesterday when the woman caused a disturbance at a cosmetics store in Ocean Terminal, shouting loudly and arguing with a cleaner before brandishing scissors from her handbag.
After leaving the mall, she proceeded toward Canton Road, where she kicked a 36-year-old female passerby in the abdomen. When a security guard intervened, she attempted to attack him with the scissors but missed.
The assailant then crossed the road to 26 Canton Road, where she targeted a 26-year-old beautician, kicking her before stabbing her three times in the lips and hands as the victim tried to stop her.

A brave bystander eventually restrained the attacker until police arrived four minutes later.
Officers found the suspect in a highly agitated state, muttering incoherently and falsely identifying herself as "Xi Ensheng."
Fingerprint checks later confirmed her identity as a local Hong Kong resident surnamed Lee. The case has been handed to the Yau Tsim Mong District crime unit for investigation.
