(Video) 11 injured in Tolo Highway bus crash

A bus crash on Tolo Highway Wednesday afternoon injured at least 11 people, including the bus driver.

The incident occurred around 12.15pm, when a KMB bus -- on route 74X Sheung Shui bound -- crashed into a crash cushion on a slip road to Tai Po market, causing damage to the front end of the double-decker.

According to reports, at least 10 passengers on the lower deck of the bus were injured and the bus driver was spotted bleeding.

Multiple ambulances arrived at the scene and took the injured to hospital. 

Due to the traffic accident, the Transport Department has announced that slip roads leading from Tai Po Road  - Tai Po Kau to Tai Po Road - Yuen Chau Tsai (Tai Po bound) are temporarily closed.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
