A driver and a passenger have been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking after leading police on a car chase on Portland Street in Mong Kok.

The pursuit came at around 9pm on Tuesday when officers spotted the suspicious vehicle on Portland Street. Officers signaled the driver to stop for an investigation, but the driver immediately drove off.
Police gave chase and the vehicle was eventually stopped by traffic near Langham Place. The vehicle was said to have crashed into four other vehicles during the chase, including a police patrol car.
In the vehicle, officers seized 34 e-cigarette capsules suspected to contain space oil and suspected cocaine. The male driver, 22, and the female passenger, 24, were later apprehended on suspicion of possession and trafficking of a dangerous drug.
The driver was also arrested for taking a conveyance without authority, furious driving, driving without a permit and driving a vehicle without third-party insurance.
The two were detained for investigation.
