A 14-year-old boy tragically took his own life by jumping from a residential building in Sha Tin on Wednesday morning.

Police received a report from a family member around 7.34am after they discovered him on a platform at Pictorial Garden.
He was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police confirmed that the boy had fallen from a unit in the building and noted that no suicide note was found. Officers are still investigating the cause of his death.
