Travelers heading north could enjoy the new high-speed train service that will get them to Hangzhou West in just about 7 hours starting Sunday (Jan 5).
The service will be launched after the adjustment of China Railways' first quarter operation, which allowed the G99 and G100 trains connecting Shanghai Hongqiao and Hong Kong West Kowloon to have a stop at Hangzhou West railway station.
According to the official online train ticket booking platform 12306, the G99 train departs from Hangzhou West at 3.10 pm, passing through Huangshan North, Nanchang East and other stops before arriving at West Kowloon Station at 9.56 pm.
As for train G100, it is scheduled to depart at 11.37 am at West Kowloon Station and arrive at Hangzhou West at 6.27 pm after a journey of 6 hours and 50 minutes.
