A video of a person riding an electric unicycle in Jordan was posted online, leading to widespread discussion regarding its danger.
A video that was recorded from a car showed a woman on the roads of Jordan riding an electric unicycle.
She was recorded swerving a little and attempting to squeeze between a taxi and the railings while traffic was waiting for the signal change. She nearly lost her balance and grabbed hold of the railings.
The video led to a wide-spread discussion, with many stating that she is playing with her life by riding on it, and if she ever gets hit, she is just affecting the driver.
Hong Kong laws stipulate that anyone who uses unregistered and unlicensed electric portable vehicles on the road may violate the Road Traffic Ordinance and other relevant laws. Upon conviction, the maximum penalty is a fine of HK$10,000 and imprisonment for 12 months.
