A 57-year-old worker fell to his death on Saturday as he slipped when repairing an air-conditioning unit on the exterior wall of a Tsuen Wan industrial building. An investigation by the Labour Department is now underway.
The incident took place at Wah Chun Industrial Centre on Chai Wan Kok Street in Tsuen Wan around noon.
It is understood that the worker was preparing the scaffolding on the exterior wall on the 15/F at the time when he slipped.
Paramedics were soon called to the scene only to pronounce the worker dead on the spot. Police later cordoned off the area for investigation.
