Seven arrested over Kwai Chung illegal gathering

A traffic accident occurred in Tai Po early Thursday morning, which saw one woman injured.
At about 12 am today, a red Toyota FT86 sports car was driving along Bride's Pool Road in the direction of Luk Keng.
When it reached the Tai Mei Tuk Raw Water Pumping Station, the sedan suddenly lost control, crashing into a roadside lamppost and mounting the pedestrian intersection. It then hit a temporary bus stop sign, where it finally came to a stop.
The vehicle was severely damaged, with its body deformed, the front windshield broken, and the rear bumper having also fallen off.
After the accident, the male driver of the sedan left the vehicle on his own. While the female passenger's right foot was caught, trapping her inside.
Firefighters were alerted to the scene and saw that the trapped passenger was still conscious. They used tools to cut open the sedan and rescued the trapped woman after about an hour.
She had a slight scratch on her right foot and was sent to hospital in an ambulance.
The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
