(Video) Taxi driver fights back after being robbed during taxi ride

A taxi driver was seen turning the tables on his robber in a video posted Tuesday afternoon.

According to the video, a taxi driver was seen taking a passenger to his destination.

The passenger with a cap and a side bag suddenly jumped forward and placed his knife on the driver's neck, threatening him into giving him money.

The driver was shocked at first but resisted and gripped the knife as he pushed his door and yelled for help.

The struggle continued until the driver suddenly gripped the thief's knife-wielding hand and took away his blade during the chaos.

The driver then turned the tables on him and told him to give him his money.

After his plan failed, the thief climbed back into the back seat, with the driver continuing to yell at him and even attacking him with his own knife.

The thief avoided the attack and fled the taxi.

The driver continued to follow him out of the vehicle as he yelled that he was being robbed.

The video ended with a view of the driver chasing after his robber.
