Scalpers are selling tickets for up to HK$17,250 each as world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma set to perform in the city with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra next month.

The concert tickets - priced at HK$480, HK$980, HK$1480, and HK$1980 - were sold out after the open sale in August.
Some people who missed the chance tried their luck recently, hoping to get a ticket at a price of HK$3,000.
Furthermore, tickets were seen available on resale and scalping websites at inflated prices, with some tickets priced at HK$13,500 to HK$17,250 each.
According to the official website, the one-night-only concert is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Ma will be performing with HK Phil music director Jaap van Zweden on November 8.
