NWD launches "AI-Imagenation Initiative" to support underprivileged students

Share for Good, the large-scale donation matching platform under New World Development, announced Monday that it has collaborated with Adobe and DBS Bank to launch an initiative to help underprivileged students to enhance digital skills in the Generative AI era.

Adobe will provide free tutorials on the latest Generative AI engine Adobe Firefly, while DBS will donate refurbished laptops to about 200 junior secondary students from five schools under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs).

Fiona Wan, the director of Share for Good, thanked Adobe and DBS for supporting students needing STEAM education and narrowing the digital divide as they are introduced to the latest technology.

The platform also announced that TWGHs has joined the platform as a beneficiary non-profit organisation.

Share for Good has responded to different social needs by connecting individual and corporate donors with those in need. The donated goods and services are matched with the right non-profit organisations to provide the most appropriate support for the community.
