HK sees another man died after receiving Sinovac vaccine: source

A 71-year-old man has passed away after receiving the Sinovac Covid vaccine, marking the third death under the city’s mass inoculation drive, according to sources.

The man was said to have sought medical attention at United Christian Hospital in the early hours today after receiving the Sinovac shot.

Hong Kong previously recorded two other deaths, of which both had received the Sinovac jab.

A woman, 55, suffered from a stroke three days after receiving the Sinovac shot at the Kwun Chung Sports Centre. She was sent to the Kwong Wah Hospital on Friday and died that night. 

The second death was a 63-year-old man who died two days after receiving the Sinovac vaccine. But an expert panel determined the man’s death was not directly linked to the mainland-produced jabs.
