Civic Party elects the new executive committees

Alan Leong kah-kit and Bill Lay Yan-pau were re-elected as Civic Party’s Chairman and internal vice chairman in its general meeting.

Jeremy Jansen Tam Man-ho was elected as the party’s vice chairman for external affairs.

Seven new faces were elected in the new executive committee, including barrister Jessica Leung Ka-sin, Tung Chung Central district councilor Lee Ka-ho, and Tin Keung district councilor Cheng Man-kit.

Leong said that although they no longer have seats in the Legislative Council, the Party would continue to monitor the government with other civil society organisations.

He added that it is too early to say whether they would send candidates to join the coming LegCo election.
