CK Asset (1113) has appointed Rose Lee Wai-mun as an independent non-executive director and member of the audit committee.
Lee had just resigned as an INED for CK Hutchison (0001) last week.
A former vice-chairman and chief executive of Hang Seng Bank (0011) and group general manager at HSBC (0005), Lee will serve until the next annual general meeting, where she may be re-elected.
Her tenure as an independent non-executive director is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at each annual general meeting.
Lee, 70, currently serves as an INED for Swire Pacific (0019) and MTR Corporation (0066). She is also a board member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and a vice patron of The Community Chest of Hong Kong.
Lee contributed to the academic sector as the chairman of the board of governors for The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and as vice president of The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers.
She is a fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and has an honorary doctorate of social science from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
Lee's director's fee is HK$220,000 per annum and she receives an additional HK$130,000 per annum for serving on the audit committee, with pro-ration for incomplete years and periodic board review.
