Ant Bank receives US$100 million capital injection

Ant Bank said it has received a capital injection of US$100 million (HK$780 million) from its parent company, Ant International to enhance services and innovative products.

Alibaba-linked (9988) Ant Group’s digital bank also aims at expanding collaboration with partners and further advancing digital financial services in Hong Kong.

Earlier, Ant Bank reported a net loss of around HK$120 million for the first half of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 91 percent.
