To address inquiries and provide clarity, the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) set up a dedicated hotline on Monday for Wang Fuk Court owners with questions about "Operation Building Bright 2.0" (OBB 2.0) subsidy distribution.
The move follows recent inquiries received by Hop On Management Company Limited (Hop On), the appointed administrator for Wang Fuk Court, concerning the subsidy checks.
In response, the URA confirmed that Hop On will handle the disbursement of funds to individual owners based on the eligibility information submitted in the original OBB 2.0 applications.
Authorities emphasized that recipients must be the eligible owners under OBB2.0 or their legal heirs.
The dedicated hotline, 2588 2900, is now operational to address individual concerns more efficiently. It will be staffed by URA personnel from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
In a prior announcement, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau stated that Hop On will set up collection points across various districts this month, allowing eligible owners to collect their checks according to their reserved time slots.
Details of the collection schedule and locations will be uploaded to the Hop On website shortly.
