A 24-year-old student has died after falling from a campus building at Tung Wah College's Mong Kok campus on Tuesday night.
Police received multiple reports at around 7pm that a man was lying on the road outside the Cheung Chin Lan Hong Building on Shantung Street and was suspected to have fallen from a height. Emergency personnel arrived and confirmed him dead at the scene.
The man, surnamed Wong, was a student at the college. Police investigations found he fell from a campus platform. A suicide note was recovered at the scene. The cause of death is pending a post-mortem examination.
It is understood he had been troubled by academic issues.
