Ho, a fireman posthumously promoted to senior fireman, was among 161 victims of the Tai Po fire and was buried with full honours at Gallant Garden on last Friday.
His fiancée, Kiki, shared on social media a photo of them looking at the stars and wrote: "Today was supposed to be our big day, the one you chose – the last day of 2025. Fatty... this journey is really tough, but I really want to take you along to complete it."
She added: "Some say life is fragile. I disagree, because I know you tried your best to save others till the last moment, fought hard to survive to see us... Goodbye, terrifying 2025, it really was terrifying. May everyone be safe and healthy in 2026."
She referenced lyrics from the song "Dear my friend," writing: "Remembering you as the kindest, the brightest, I'm imitating, smiling the same, I believe you've become a sky full of constellations, watching from afar."
