New World Development (0017) invited guests to experience the deep cultural legacy of its new luxury Kowloon Tong project, Pavilia Rosa, featuring a live calligraphy performance by a young calligrapher who presented spring couplets.
The initiative integrates the aesthetics of traditional calligraphy into contemporary living and artistic creation to welcome the Lunar New Year, while also echoing the unique cultural heritage of Pavilia Rosa, which is located in Kowloon Tong - a neighbourhood long associated with academic prestige and rich cultural roots.
Kowloon Tong is widely regarded as the birthplace of Hong Kong's "garden city" concept. The area was developed in the 1920s into a low-density, high-end residential district and has since become a traditional luxury neighbourhood with deep historical and cultural roots.
NWD also arranged a harp performance at the event, with several classic pieces played live. The gentle harp music, set against the meticulously curated Garden City Gallery, further highlighted the project's profound cultural backdrop.
