Hong Kong pop sensation Gloria Tang Tsz-kei, better known by her stage name G.E.M., is set to make a highly anticipated return to the city’s stage, headlining a concert series at the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium from August 15 to 17, 2025.
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter will become the first female Mandarin pop singer to hold a solo concert at the newly opened venue, a milestone that has already generated huge excitement among fans online.
The concerts will be part of her ongoing “I AM GLORIA” 2.0 World Tour and will coincide with her birthday week, as she celebrates her birthday on August 16, making the event especially meaningful.
“Hong Kong, I’m back! August 15-17, my birthday week, see you at Kai Tak!” she wrote on her social media, confirming the long-awaited homecoming.
This marks G.E.M.’s first major solo concert in Hong Kong in eight years, as her team emphasized the significance of "birthday shows” in a post on social media on Thursday. The announcement was met with overwhelming enthusiasm, with many fans eager to witness her return to a Hong Kong stage.
