The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 37 points, or 0.15 percent to 25,567 at noon.
The half-day market turnover was HK$141 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index was up by 0.34 percent to 4,837 points at noon.
Intelligent driving motion control technologies developer NASN Intelligent Tech (Zhejiang) (2261) jumped 74.7 percent in Hong Kong’s trading debut.
The company closed at HK$18.2 from its offer price of HK$10.42, giving a paper gain of up to HK$778 per board lot of 100 shares.
In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was up by 0.5 percent to 3,919 points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index went up by 1.3 percent to 14,295 points at the midday close.
