Hang Seng Index back to 26,000 points by noon

Hong Kong shares rose by midday break on Monday, with the benchmark back to the 26,000-point level.

Hang Seng Index inched up 38 points, or 0.15 percent, to 26,016.

The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.31 percent to 4,966.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index inched up 0.15 percent to 4,085 points, and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index increased by 0.52 percent to 15,018 points.
