Hang Seng Index drops below 26,000 points in early trading on Thursday

The Hang Seng Index dropped below 26,000 points in the early morning trading session on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell by 216 points to 25,946 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index was down by 1.4 percent to around 4,877 points.
