Hong Kong shares recover by noon

Hong Kong stocks recovered all the losses by midday break on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 137 points, or 0.55 percent, to 24,993.

The tech gauge increased 1.05 percent to 4,811.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index inched up 0.26 percent to 3,899 points, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index advanced 0.93 percent to 13,732 points.
