JD.com looks for US$1 b convertible bond issuance linked to health arm: Bloomberg

JD.com (9618) is planning to issue at least US$1 billion (HK$7.8 billion) of convertible securities linked to the shares of JD Health International (6618), Bloomberg reported.

JD.com has been gauging investor interest in this potential bond sale that would be exchangeable into shares of its subsidiary, JD Health International, according to the report.

The discussions are ongoing, and details may change, the news agency said. 

The Chinese e-commerce giant denied the report.

As of June, JD.com owns over 67 percent shares of this online healthcare firm. 

JD.com's share rose 0.1 percent on Tuesday, while JD Health International edged down 0.6 percent.
