The company expects an interim net profit of HK$48.5–50.5 million, compared to HK$32.4 million in the same period last year.
The company attributed the profit increase to continued growth of tourist arrivals in its core markets, as well as its marketing strategies and incentives to stimulate consumer sentiment.
Meanwhile, in response to the evolving retail format in the Chinese mainland, Sa Sa has closed physical stores in the region and focused on developing its local online business, which has enhanced profitability.
