In its report, Starbucks staff had said that the company maintains its optimism toward the Chinese market.
The coffeehouse chain had earlier announced that it would eliminate 1,100 corporate roles as chief executive Brian Niccol pushes ahead with his turnaround efforts for the company, which has been struggling with falling sales.
Starbucks employs about 211,000 people in the United States and around 150,000 employees internationally, according to its 2024 report.
