Xpeng (9868) delivered 30,400 new vehicles in January, more than 2.6 times higher than last year, surpassing Li Auto (2015) to take the lead in monthly deliveries.
Xpeng has delivered over 30,000 vehicles for a third straight month and plans to add more than 1,000 ultra-fast charging stations this year.
Li Auto delivered 29,900 vehicles in January, a 4 percent decline from last year. Its cumulative deliveries reached 1.16 million vehicles at the end of last month.
Meanwhile, NIO (9866) delivered nearly 13,900 vehicles in January, climbing 37.9 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology (9863) saw its January deliveries more than double year-on-year, reaching 25,200 vehicles.
The company earlier announced that it achieved a positive net profit in the fourth quarter of last year, achieving its single-quarter profit target one year ahead of schedule.
