BOC Hong Kong (2388) has launched "BOC Life Deferred Annuity" on mobile banking for those who are planning their retirement or retirees aged 40 or above, allowing them to complete their enrolment by logging into BOCHK mobile banking.

Customers can receive 100 percent guaranteed monthly annuity income after 5 or 10 policy years. The plan, with a payment period of 5 years, and a policy term of 15 or 20 years, provides Hong Kong dollar, US dollar, and yuan for selection. For example, the annualized guaranteed internal rate of return upon policy maturity will be 2.63 percent to 3.05 percent subject to policy terms and currency.
