BYD February auto sales dive

BYD Company (1211) posted its automobile sales last month plunged by 79 percent from a year ago to 5,501 units, with new energy vehicles sales dropping 81 percent to 2,803 units.

For the first two months of the year, the company's auto sales halved year-on-year to 30,674 units.

Shares of the company slid 2.73 percent, or HK$1.35, to close at HK$48.15.
