Diamond Hill’s long-awaited Water Feature Park will open to the public tomorrow, bringing new leisure space and a touch of heritage to the heart of Kowloon.
The 26,400-square-meter park sits on the former site of Tai Hom Village, with several historic landmarks carefully reinstated to preserve the area’s past.
Among them are the village’s Hangar — a Grade III historic building with preserved structural components — the Grade II Pillbox, and the Stone House, once the residence of late Hong Kong film star Roy Chiao.
Their presence weaves the former village’s story into the design of the new park, offering visitors a quiet link between old Diamond Hill and its modern landscape.
The park features both still and flowing water installations, landscaped walkways, and a variety of greenery meant to create a calm, comfortable environment. It also houses multipurpose activity rooms, a pavilion, and a children’s play area, allowing the space to host exhibitions, small performances, cultural programs, and community recreation.
The newly built park has a total area of about 26 400 square metres, providing a pleasant and relaxing leisure venue for public enjoyment. Photo shows the Hangar - a Grade III historic building with part of the components preserved.

For visitors, the park is easily accessible from Diamond Hill MTR Station via Exits A2 or B, with several bus and minibus routes also serving the area.
The opening marks a new chapter for the neighborhood — one that blends leisure, culture, and heritage in a setting designed for all ages to enjoy.
