Immersive Play-based Bilingual Environment
Play is a crucial part of development of the whole child. At Maple Bear, we put an emphasis on how valuable play is for young children. Play promotes interacting with people, manipulating objects, problem-solving and making discoveries that help make sense of the world and learning happens authentically.
Maple Bear is more than learning a language through our bilingual language immersion experience, the model aims to provide a complete education of the child physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially, in which three components are fundamental: Creativity, Collaboration and Critical Thinking. Based on a themed project, lessons are fully child led, activity-driven and play-based, students learn English and Mandarin using a student-focused language immersion learning system based on Canadian educational pedagogies and best practices.

Maple Bear organises Bear Care English playgroups for toddlers aged from 12 to 24 months, students will bridge directly into our Kindergarten classes to building up toddler confidence and making sure for a smooth transition.
