Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will host the "AI + COMM: Advancing AI for Social Good International Symposium" on Monday (Mar 9), according to an announcement from the School of Communication.
The international event is set to bring together leading researchers and industry professionals from North America, Europe, and Asia. Participants will discuss the profound impact of artificial intelligence and explore ways to harness AI for the benefit of society.
The guest speakers included S. Shyam Sundar, Director, Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence; Claes de Vreese, Co-Founder of AI, Media and Democracy Lab; Matthieu Guitton, Editor-in-Chief of Computers in Human Behavior and Computers in Human Behavior: Artificial Humans; Brooke Knight, the Dean of the Faculty and Associate Provost at Emerson College and others.
The symposium will be livestreamed on HKBU’s official Facebook, YouTube, WeChat Channel, and Weibo accounts.
