Han Zheng to attend opening ceremony of Paris Olympics as Xi's special representative

Chinese Vice President Han Zheng will travel to France to attend the Opening Ceremony and other events of the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris on July 26.

Han, at the invitation of the host country and the International Olympic Committee, will travel to Paris as President Xi Jinping's special representative, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning on Monday.
