Northern Inner Mongolia reported one new local coronavirus patient, local health authorities said on Thursday.
The new patient was registered in the city of Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia, the regional health commission said. The patient had been in close contact with confirmed patients previously reported in the city.
As of 7:00 a.m. Thursday, Manzhouli has 27 local patients and two asymptomatic patients.
A total of 1,437 close contacts have been identified and placed under medical observation.
