Tourism chief hikes for 5 hours to realize concept of 'tourism is everywhere'

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law Shuk-pui recently spent five hours hiking to realize "tourism is everywhere" -- the concept promoted by the government.

Law took to social media to share numerous photos from her hike on Lantau Island. Starting at Shek Pik Reservoir, she trekked along the Phoenix Trail and made her way to Tai O. 

During the hike, she and her friends faced strong winds, but thankfully their itinerary remained on track and it took five hours to conclude their journey. 

Law also highlighted that both Fan Lau Beach and the historic Fan Lau Fort are worth a visit and make for fantastic hiking routes.

She covered an impressive 18.1 kilometers and took a staggering 29,154 steps. After her adventure, she treated herself to a delicious meal with friends.
