Police are searching for a burglar who stole approximately HK$30,000 in cash from an apartment in Happy Valley on Sunday morning.

At 7.18 am today, police received a report from a 75-year-old woman, surnamed Tse. She reported that her domestic helper discovered the kitchen window of her apartment at Blue Pool Lodge on Blue Pool Road was pried open, and three handbags were found on the floor, showing signs of looting.
Upon arrival, police noted that the window, which was removed, was located on the exterior of the building. It is suspected that the burglar accessed the apartment through this window and exited the same way.
The victim reported a loss of around HK$30,000 in cash.
The incident has been classified as a burglary, and police are actively seeking the individual responsible for the crime.
