24-year-old HK model murdered in Bangkok, boyfriend arrested

A 24-year-old Hong Kong woman was found stabbed to death with nine wounds in her Bangkok apartment, according to the Thailand media reports.

The victim was identified as Gwendoline Cretton, an Eurasian model with Hong Kong ID card and Switzerland passport. She was found dead last Thursday after neighbors reported hearing the scream at around 6.15 pm.

Captured by the CCTV, the victim was lifted out of the apartment by her Hong Kong boyfriend, Wai, and two companions.

The police have arrested Wai but he claimed Gwendoline Cretton ended her own life.

Gwendoline Cretton was last seen walking her dog at around 5.30 pm near her apartment, according to Thai police. In the meanwhile, there was surveillance footage of Wai's yellow car hovering around Gwendoline Cretton's apartment. 

The Immigration Department has not received any request for assistance and has communicated with the Office of the Commissioner of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand to monitor developments closely.
