HKO says seven UFO sightings reported last year

The Hong Kong Observatory said on Tuesday that it had received seven reports of UFO sightings last year in the territory.

Responding to lawmaker inquiries today, the weather watchdog said 71 UFO sightings have been reported over the last five years.

The Sha Tin and Islands District are believed to be the most popular districts for suspected UFOs to do flybys as most of the sightings were reported there, with eight reports respectively.

Meanwhile, 12 of the 71 cases were reported between 10 pm and midnight, the HKO added.
